Community Partnerships

Collaboration is key to lasting change. We partner with local businesses, schools, colleges and community organisations to give young people impactful, meaningful opportunities, and together we’re building stronger, more resilient communities.

What we do

Our Community Partnerships programme builds strong networks with local organisations to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow and thrive. By collaborating with community stakeholders, we expand our reach and maximise the impact of our youth programmes.

With Premier Gospel Radio, we created a programme introducing young people to the world of media and communications: hands-on broadcasting experience, a glimpse into potential careers, and the confidence to explore new skills. We work closely with Our Lady and St Hubert’s Catholic Primary School on workshops and community events, and support from Sandwell Council has helped us extend our reach.

Who we support

The programme supports young people aged 5–25 from diverse backgrounds, particularly those who can benefit most from community resources, mentorship and engagement.

By connecting young people with local businesses, community leaders and educational resources, we make sure they have the support and opportunities they need to grow confidently in school, work and beyond.

When to get involved

Our partnership initiatives run throughout the year, and we welcome new partners, volunteers and supporters at any time. Businesses, community groups and individuals can sponsor programmes, volunteer, or help organise events that engage and inspire young people.

Our work with Premier Gospel Radio offers ongoing opportunities in media, while our collaborations with local schools and Sandwell Council run seasonally, in line with the academic year.

Why it matters

Building a supportive community for young people takes collaboration. Working together amplifies our collective impact, bringing diverse skills, resources and perspectives to our mission.

When we work hand in hand, we can offer young people opportunities that foster growth, confidence and community pride.

Where it happens

The programme is rooted in Oldbury, where our base at George Road Community Church is a hub for partnership activities, planning sessions and community events, bringing organisations and young people together.

Partnerships like Premier Gospel Radio connect young people with experiences beyond their usual surroundings, while our work with Sandwell Council helps us serve communities across Birmingham and beyond.
